Timing is everything. I know…it’s a vague statement that can be applied to so many things. In this case it’s water droplets, a not so accommodating photographic subject. Typically, the ratio of good to bad shots is around 1:200.  Not all of the mistimed pics are throwaways, though.  Sometimes the ‘bad’ ones end up being keepers….
