Durbs cranked on Thursday and Friday (see http://tinyurl.com/6kvuj2l on the ‘Zag site for some pics and video).
Today saw somewhat smaller surf, but there were still some goodies coming through. Set frequency was nothing to write home about, but at least the offshore wind allowed the waves to hold their shape for a while. It’s a pity the wind couldn’t save the waves from the tide change, and the stretches of close-out sections grew throughout the morning.
Spent a bit of time on the North Beach pier alternating taking pics of the guys out at New pier, and of the body boarders in the Bowl.
I didn’t stay long enough to see the full tide change, so maybe the lull was brief, and it fired for the rest of the day
All in all, a nice morning on the beachfront….
