Spider Web

According to a Wiki search, Spider silk is a remarkably strong material with a tensile strength superior to high grade steel.  Ductile, too,  being able to stretch up to 140% of any given length.  Spider silk is extremely lightweight: a strand of spider silk long enough to circle the Earth would weigh less than 500 grams .

So it’s little wonder that this web survived the whole night, and  well into the next day,  battling a constant downpour and persistent winds.

Amazing stuff….
